Portugal were desperate for a response following their 2-0 defeat against Switzerland in the opening round of World Cup qualifiers. The Portuguese were however, without star man Cristiano Ronaldo due to injury.
Ronaldo recovered in time for the Andorra clash and fired Portugal into the lead against Andorra in the second minute at the Estádio Municipal de Aveiro and then bagged a brace just two minutes later.
The first goal came as a result of a well timed volley inside the opposition penalty area and the second was a well timed header.

Portugal will move into third place in Group B if they do go onto beat the European minnows.
