Jermaine Defoe is no longer a Tottenham player but it appears the club – well, the social media team – still have a soft spot for the prolific striker and wished him a happy 34th birthday.
The former England international scored 138 times in 357 appearances for Tottenham over the course of his time spent at the club.

Defoe currently plays at Sunderland, where he also has a decent scoring record, having found the back of the net 26 times in 60 appearances for the Black Cats in all competitions.
