The Ligue 1 giants Paris Saint-Germain have been linked with a move for Liverpool’s star playmaker Philippe Coutinho, according to Le 10 Sport (via the The Sun).
Per-the-source, PSG are preparing a mega-bid for the in-form Brazil international. The report goes onto state that Coutinho is a ‘money-no-object’ transfer target for PSG.
Coutinho has been in sensational form for Liverpool this season racking up three goals and two assists in seven appearances for the Reds.
The report goes onto state that PSG tabled a £22 million offer for Coutinho which was swiftly rejected by Liverpool.
However, the Sun states that Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp is keen to keep hold of his star asset following the positive start made to the season.
Liverpool are currently on a four game winning run and are unbeaten in their last seven. The Reds recorded a 2-1 victory over Swansea City last week and find themselves in forth place with 16 points after seven games.
Klopp’s side take on their bitter rivals Manchester United in their next Premier League encounter.
