(Photo) Zlatan Ibrahimovic does his best Bane impression but proves unquestionable work ethic

After retiring from international football this past summer, Zlatan Ibrahimovic finds himself in what is still probably a relatively unfamiliar situation this week.

The Manchester United forward has stayed behind while many of his teammates have travelled all around the world to represent their respective countries in World Cup qualifiers, but that hasn’t stopped him from continuing to stay in shape.

As seen in the post below on Instagram, the 34-year-old showed his relentless work ethic as he continues to train through the international break, and he will want to be as sharp as possible when the Premier League resumes next weekend.

“There is no free time, there is hard work and objectives,” the caption accompanying the image reads, with ‘Zlatan’ seen wearing a fitness mask which can only be best described as something comic-book villain Bane wears.

United face Liverpool at Anfield next, and they will be looking to their influential Swede to lead their charge and pick up a positive result at the home of their bitter rivals.

Ibrahimovic has scored six goals in 11 appearances in all competitions for United so far this season, and he’ll be as desperate as ever to add to that tally in a game of such huge magnitude.
