Germany national team star Julian Draxler scored the opening goal for his country against Northern Ireland at the HDI Arena in Hannover.
Drawler found the back of the net on 13 minutes with a powerful shot from just outside the penalty area in what was his third goal for the Germany national team.

Sami Khedira doubled the lead on 17 minutes to give Germany a 2-0 lead going into the half time break. Germany would remain in first place on nine points if the scores were to remain the same at half time.
