Manchester City star striker Kelechi Iheanacho has reached out to his international teammate Alex Iwobi following Nigeria’s 2-1 win over Zambia.
The duo started and got themselves on the scoresheet during the Super Eagles away win, leaving Nigeria top of their World Cup qualification group.
Kelechi and Iwobi appear to be inseparable off the field and today’s Instagram post shows that the bromance is strong.
The Man City striker shared a photo of himself alongside Iwobi with the caption, “brothers love.”
Iwobi has three assists in five appearances for Arsenal in all competitions this season.
The 20-year-old has been one of the recent success stories of the Arsenal academy having risen through the youth ranks to the senior side under the stewardship of Arsene Wenger.
Iwobi has gone onto secure a place in Arsenal’s starting line-up in recent weeks, keeping out the likes of Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain.
The Gunners take on an out-of-form Swansea City this weekend in the Premier League.
