John Stones has taken to social media to heap praise on his former teammate Joe Hart, following his phenomenal display during England’s draw with Slovenia.
Hart kept Slovenia at bay multiple times on Tuesday evening to rescue a point for England.
Stones also played the full 90 minutes and put in an assured display. The young defender shared a photo of the England team along with the caption, “Good 10 days together with England .Tough game last night but good to keep a clean sheet and what a performance from Harty [Joe Hart].”
Hart was offloaded by Manchester City over the summer following the arrival of Pep Guardiola.
