Manchester City youngster Leroy Sane started in Germany’s 4-1 victory over Austria in the last of their U21 European Championship qualification games.
Sane started for Germany but did not score or provide an assist over the course of the 90 minutes.
Germany won their 10th consecutive game in the process finishing Group 7 with a maximum 30 points – the only team to do so in the group stages.
The 20-year-old joined City from Schalke over the summer transfer window providing one assist in five appearances.
