In an ideal world for most Chelsea fans, they’ll see club legend John Terry eventually blossom into a coach capable of managing the side in the future.
Based on his most recent Instagram post, it appears as though the wheels are very much already in motion as he showed off his homework as he works towards securing his coaching badges.
The 35-year-old has been sidelined with an ankle injury in recent weeks but is expected to return to face Leicester City this weekend after resuming training over the international break, but he’s been busy off the training field too it seems.
Having been such an influential leader for Chelsea for a number of years now, there are few that know how the club works better than Terry himself, and so the natural expectation is that as he eyes a future coaching career he’ll one day take charge at Stamford Bridge.
We might be a while away from that at this moment as he needs to get his badges and gain experience, but if he applies himself to his coaching as he did and continues to do so to his playing career, there are few that will doubt his ability to be a success on the bench for Chelsea further down the line.
