Arsenal star playmaker Mesut Ozil celebrated his 28th birthday at the Trip nightclub in London following the Gunners’ win over Swansea City, according to the Mirror.
The Germany international had plenty to celebrate after scoring during his sides 3-2 win. Ozil scored Arsenal’s third and final goal to wrap up all three points.
The Mirror shared photos of Ozil on his night out in Mayfair. Per the source, Ozil was left emotional when he was shown a video containing ‘Happy Birthday’ messages from his former teammates and colleagues at Arsenal.
Ozil has a year and a half remaining on his current contract with Arsenal and has been in talks with the north London based club over an extension.
Arsenal have racked up five wins in a row and take on the Bulgarian side Ludogorets on Wednesday night. The Gunners are currently joint first in the Premier League with 19 points after eight games.
