Liverpool have shared a photo of a past victory over their rivals Manchester United in the lead up to Monday’s clash with the Red Devils at Anfield.
The fixture took place in 2009 and resulted in a 2-0 victory for Liverpool.
The Reds uploaded a photo of their former keeper Pepe Reina celebrating following David N’Gog’s injury time goal, along with the caption, “Pepe Reina celebrates with David N’Gog after the Frenchman’s stoppage time goal against Man Utd! Classic LFC.”
Liverpool will be looking to improve upon their winning run when they host their rivals and have a change to move up into joint first place.
