Arsenal team news: Gunners receive injury boost as Wenger confirms he has full strength squad

Arsenal take on Bulgarian outfit Ludogerets in the Champions League Match Day 3 Group A clash at the Emirates on Wednesday.

Gunners boss Arsene Wenger revealed that he has a full strength squad against the Bulgarian outfit and that nobody picked up injuries during or after the 3-2 win against Swansea City over the weekend.

Wenger also stated that Olivier Giroud and Aaron Ramsey have both recovered from injury but remained coy over whether they would be match fit for game against Ludogerets.

“They continue their preparation as they have been out for a long time. I think they need sharpening up now but they are not far away,” he was quoted as saying by the official Arsenal website.

In other Arsenal team news Santi Cazorla revealed that he has been impressed with the impact summer signing Skhodran Mustafi has had on the team.

Cazorla also stated that the Germany international has already established a strong partnership with Laurent Koscielny.

 

Arsenal go into the Champions League clash in second place in Group A with four points after their first two games.

Mustafi has brought a lot to the team,” Cazorla told IBTimes.

“Even though he is still very young he already has big experience and has formed a good partnerships with Koscielny. 

“They already understand each other very well. 

“That solidness in defence gives the rest of the team an assurance to play with more freedom.”c
