Rio Ferdinand has taken to social media to reach out to his co-worker Robbie Savage and wish him a happy birthday.
The former Manchester United star revealed that Savage was his most ‘hated’ player during his playing days. However, Ferdinand went onto say Savage was a ‘top bloke.’
Ferdinand shared a photo of the pair walking down the road along with the following caption, “Happy Birthday to the guy I hated most as a player… now I’ve got to know him he’s a top bloke! Have a good one Robbie Savage.”
Ferdinand spent 12 years at United where he won six Premier League titles and a UEFA Champions league.
