Liverpool hero Daniel Agger returned to Anfield to watch the dire 0-0 draw between his old club and Manchester United. The Danish defender posted this image on Instagram from the game.
The former Brondby man hailed the new stand, which he was seeing for the first time, and described it as impressive.
Unfortunately for Agger, as he points out, it comes ten years too late for the defender, who signed for Rafa Benitez’s Liverpool a decade ago this summer.
Agger did not leave Merseyside on particularly good terms, so it’s good to see he’s still has a lot of affection for the club.
