Chelsea vs Manchester United confirmed line-ups: Ibrahimovic returns for visitors while hosts unchanged

Chelsea host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge on Sunday with Antonio Conte and Jose Mourinho both keen to secure a positive result.

The visitors bring back Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Marcus Rashford after both were on the bench in midweek for the win over Fenerbahce in the Europa League, while the likes of Antonio Valencia and Ander Herrera also come back into the starting line-up.

Meanwhile, Paul Pogba will be expected to start in an advanced position with Marouane Fellaini joining Herrera in midfield, with Jesse Lingard and Rashford tasked with adding width and movement behind Ibrahimovic.

As for Chelsea, Antonio Conte has gone with the same team that defeated Leicester City at Stamford Bridge last weekend, which sees him adopt a 3-4-3 system as he looks for consistency and another positive result as they look to make it three consecutive wins and three clean sheets in a row too.

Headlines have been dominated by the fact that Jose Mourinho is returning to his old club, and while he’ll be the focus of attention up until kick-off, he’ll be hopeful that he’s picked the right team in order to ensure that his side return to Manchester with a positive result.
