Chelsea winger Pedro has revealed that he believes his side can challenge for the Premier League title this season, report the Daily Mail.
After the Blues brushed aside Manchester United 4-0 on Sunday, Pedro spoke confidently about what they could achieve this season: “It’s the way to show we can fight for the title.”
Pedro got Chelsea off to the best possible start against United, rounding De Gea and firing into the empty net after just 30 seconds.

His goal was the fastest of the Premier League season so far, and Chelsea’s fast-start to the campaign sees them sitting just one point off the top spot.
Pedro moved to Stamford Bridge from Barcelona last summer, but endured a debut season worse than he ever could have imagined as his new team finished tenth.
He evidently now feels as though there is plenty to be positive about. After playing a key part in Chelsea’s victories over Leicester and Manchester United, scoring once and providing two assists, Pedro believes they are ready to challenge for the title.
