Arsenal star Mesut Ozil wished Manchester City ace Ilkay Gundogan a happy 26th birthday over Instagram today.
Now you may be wondering why Ozil would wish a City player a happy birthday but they both happen to be Germany international players. The similarities do not end there either. Both players were born in Germany but are of Turkish origin and are bi-lingual in both languages – German and Turkish.
Ozil described Gundogan as being his ‘abi’ in the caption which is Turkish for older brother but can be used as a sign of respect as well.
