Manchester United striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic is in his worst run of form for a decade, report the Daily Mail.
The Swede has not scored in five league games on the bounce for the first time since 2006 while at Inter Milan.
After scoring 50 goals in all competitions for PSG last campaign, Manchester United fans will have expected more from Ibrahimovic. The Daily Mail note that he has now not scored in the Premier League for 498 minutes, his worst drought for ten years.
Inter fans will have found comfort in knowing that Ibrahimovic’s best years were ahead of him, he was only 25-years-old at the time. Now 35, the question continues to arise – is he past his best?
After being taken apart by Antonio Conte’s Chelsea side at the weekend, Manchester United sit six points behind rivals Manchester City. Jose Mourinho will no doubt be hoping that Zlatan’s dry patch comes to an end soon.
