Arsenal beat Reading 2-0 at the Emirates to progress to the next round of the EFL Cup on Tuesday evening at the Emirates.
Gunners head coach Arsene Wenger made a few changes to the side that were held to a goalless draw against Middlesbrough in the Premier League last weekend.
Kieran Gibbs was brought in and appointed captain against the Championship outfit and shared a tweet after the game with a picture of himself form the game. Gibbs revealed that it was an ‘amazing feeling’ to captain Arsenal and that he was delighted to have Carl Jenkinson back from a lengthy injury.
