Manchester United confirmed line-up vs Burnley: Ibrahimovic keeps place but still no room for summer signing

Manchester United boss Jose Mourinho has kept faith in Zlatan Ibrahimovic as he hopes his side can seal all three points against Burnley on Saturday.

Reports prior to the game at Old Trafford suggested that the 34-year-old would be rested having gone through a barren run in recent weeks, but Mourinho has opted to keep him in place to lead the line.

Elsewhere, there is still no place for summer signing Henrikh Mkhitaryan who doesn’t even make the bench despite Mourinho insisting in his press conference on Friday that the Armenian playmaker is fit.

Matteo Darmian and Marcos Rojo start in defence with United now having to contend with the absence of Eric Bailly after he picked up a knee injury in the defeat to Chelsea last weekend.

Meanwhile, United sit in seventh place prior to kick off, nine points adrift of Premier League leaders Arsenal but have a game in hand along with the rest of the chasing pack after the Gunners sealed a 4-1 win over Sunderland in the early game on Saturday.
