Manchester United fans have taken to Twitter to vent their frustrations after a poor first-half display from Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
The Swede moved to Old Trafford in the summer on a free transfer after his contract with PSG came to an end. On paper it looked like one of the best deals of the summer, signing a player who had scored 50 goals in all competitions and not paying a penny for him.
He started the season well, but has fallen-off and has scored just once in his last nine games. He has also not scored in five league games, his longest domestic drought since 2006. A goal-drought could perhaps be forgiven by fans, but his all-round game has not been as polished as many would expect from a player of his quality.
His first-half performance against Burnley today has been the final straw for some. A lot of criticism has been sent his way on Twitter, here’s just a taste of it:
Falcao was more clinical than Ibra.
