Diego Costa continued his fine form this season as the Chelsea striker doubled his side’s lead against Southampton at St Mary’s on Sunday evening.
The Spaniard now has eight in 10 Premier League games so far this season as he continues to lead the line with impressive results for Antonio Conte.

Eden Hazard had given the visitors the lead after just five minutes, and they struck early again in the second half to put themselves in a commanding position to seal what would be a fourth consecutive win.
Given that Southampton have been very organised defensively so far this season, Conte will be delighted to see his side produce two bits of quality in the final third to unlock Claude Puel side’s defence as they edge closer to securing all three points.
Costa has now scored 40 Premier League goals since joining Chelsea in 2014, with only Sergio Aguero and Harry Kane scoring more in that same time period.
