Former Chelsea and Manchester City left-back Wayne Bridge is set to appear on reality T.V show ‘I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here’, according to the Mirror.
The Mirror report that ITV bosses have signed Bridge up in hope that he will talk about the John Terry cheating scandal.
The retired 36-year-old has never spoken publicly about Terry’s alleged affair with his former girlfriend Vanessa Perroncel. The Mirror believe that ITV are hoping that the subject will come up in conversation while he is in the jungle.
Bridge began his footballing career at Southampton, before moving to Chelsea in 2003. The Blues faithful will best remember him for a late goal against Arsenal at Highbury that sent them through to the Champions League semi-finals. He was also part of Jose Mourinho’s squad that won the Premier League title in 2005.
He went on to play for Manchester City, Fulham, West Ham and Sunderland, as well as making 36 appearances for the England national team.
