Tottenham star midfielder Mousa Dembele is a doubt for this weekend’s north London derby against Arsenal after suffering ankle injury in Leverkusen defeat, according to the Mirror.
Spurs suffered a 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Bundesliga giants Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League yesterday evening.
However, their evening was made worse after Dembele was withdrawn during the first-half after twisting his ankle.
The Mirror states that Dembele is a ‘major doubt’ going into this weekends clash. Meanwhile, both Toby Alderweireld and Harry Kane both missed last night’s clash and face a race against time to be fit for the north London derby.
Per-the-source, Tottenham boss Pochettino also stated that it would be “difficult” for Kane to play this weekend’s encounter from the start.
Meanwhile, Arsenal come into the game off the back of a 3-2 win over Ludagorets in the UEFA Champions League and are unbeaten in their last 12 games.
