Manchester United’s top goal scorer could leave after just one season

Manchester United star striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic has already been linked with a move away from the club, months after joining on a free transfer from PSG, according to the Mirror.

The former Sweden international is currently United’s top scorer with six goals this season while youngster Marcus Rashford is in second place with four.

Club captain Wayne Rooney has managed to score just two goals this term.

Per-the-source, the MLS side LA Galaxy could offer Ibrahimovic a way out of Old Trafford at the end of the season. The Mirror states that LA Galaxy believe Ibra may be open to a move to the States next summer when his current contract at United expires.

The report goes onto state that LA Galaxy are pursuing Ibrahimovic ahead of Wayne Rooney who has two years left on his £300,000-a-week contract at Old Trafford.

Ibrahimovic has failed to score in his last six games and drew another blank against Fenerbahce in the Europa League yesterday.
