(Photo) Chelsea legend trolled over smug snap with personalised gown

John Terry has received a less than favourable response on Instagram after proudly posing for a photo in his ‘JT’ dressing gown.

The Chelsea captain seems to be loving life as he gears up for winter in the snap taken by his wife, as he looks to keep warm following all that time on the bench in recent weeks.

Naturally, given the number of followers he has, he’s attracted plenty of likes from his 2,7m fans but there were a fair few who were far from impressed with his attire.

@toniterry26 knows winter is here when I start wearing my dressing gown ?

One user went all Only Fools and Horses on Terry with: “Del boy just called me he said can you ask JT if I can have my dressing gown back”, while another highlighted how vain the image was: “Toni, Toni take a picture of me in my personalised gown”.

Others were a little less subtle with their criticism, as seen from the comments such as: “JT- jumbo t**t” and one thoughtful post that simply read: “p***k”.

Terry may or may not just be a massive Justin Timberlake fan, but it’s fair to say that he’ll hope to swap his gown for a Chelsea kit sooner rather than later to get back on the pitch and help Antonio Conte’s side continue their excellent recent form.

However, with four clean sheets and four wins in a row in the Premier League with their current back three in a 3-4-3 system, he may have more time to pick out gowns in the coming months.
