Manchester United season took yet another turn for the worse yesterday evening following their 2-1 at the hands of Fenerbahce in the Europa League.
Mourinho surprisingly selected a stronger than expected starting line-up for yesterday’s game with the likes of David de Gea, Paul Pogba and Marcus Rashford all starting.
However, the Red Devils disappointed yet again and were fortunate not to lose by a greater scoreline.
Salt was rubbed into United wounds when Paul Pogba was forced off with an injury. The France international is a doubt for this weekends Premier League game.
Yesterday’s result comes off the back of disappointing results against the likes of Chelsea and Burnley.
Unsurprisingly, Twitter was quick to target United boss Mourinho who has been heavily criticised for his decisions, here a selection of those tweets.

You can't deny United are progressing under Mourinho. That goal came ages after Pedro's.

Fans were hotly on Mourinho’s case following Sow’s goal after just two minutes and things only got worse when the former Sunderland man Jeremain Lens scored a perfectly struck free-kick to put the Yellow Canaries 2-0 up.

I would watch a TV series that followed Jose Mourinho and everything he has to do to remove the curse on him so his teams can win again.

Honestly can't believe Mourinho, playing Rashford as a left wing back, and benching Martial, all to include 35 year old Ibrahimovic

I know Jose Mourinho was upset when we didn't hire him to take over from Fergie but this is taking holding a grudge to a whole new level.

Mourinho is a dead man walking. Hopefully his stay will last as long as possible. Should be fun ?
