Melbourne City forward Tim Cahil has urged his club’s fans to remain positive despite this weeks defeat.
The former Everton man took to social media by sharing a photo of himself after the game on his Instagram page and included the following caption, “No time to be negative after that result. Early doors in the season and loads of football to play @melbournecity big thank you to our fans that come to the game and also Brisbane , amazing turnout 20k plus. Another war wound for the collection.”
Cahil is well known by fans back in the Premier League after he spent eight years at Everton where he made 226 appearances. Everton take on Chelsea this weekend in the league.
