Manchester City drew 1-1 with Middlesbrough on Saturday afternoon in the Premier League.
Sergio Aguero scored the opening goal of the game just before half time at the Etihad Stadium.
Aguero slotted past Victor Valdes from close range after excellent work from Kevin De Bruyne on 43 minutes.
Valdes was perhaps not feeling at his sharpest when City broke the deadlock.
That is because the Boro stopper – formerly of Manchester United – had been injured moments earlier.
Valdes was left with an ugly gash on his leg after feeling the force of Jesus Navas’s studs.
OUCH!
This is how it happened…

Valdes is a tough cookie and he managed to stay on the pitch for the full 90.
A nasty gash for Valdes who’s been superb for @Boro at @ManCity . He’s carrying on of course. pic.twitter.com/jgOX4Q1ycC

And a Valdes masterclass helped keep Boro in the game, before Marten de Roon struck an equaliser in second-half stoppage time.
