Tottenham boss Pochettino admits players must improve ahead of Arsenal clash

Tottenham manager Mauricio Pochettino has admitted that his side must improve if they are to come away with anything form the north London derby this weekend, according to the Mirror.

Spurs take on their bitter rivals Arsenal this week in the Premier League as they look to return to winning ways. The north London based club are without a win in their last six games and were defeated at home by Bayer Leverkusen in the UEFA Champions League on Tuesday.

“We need to learn and improve. It is true we are very young and we are a team in a process – the club is building a massive stadium, an unbelievable stadium, a great stadium,” Pochettino was quoted as saying by the Mirror.

“It will be the best one in England or in Europe. The team is in the same process. We are setting the principles, finding a better way to play.

“The players can be here for the next few seasons but they need to show more to be here. We are in the same process as the club.”

Meanwhile, Arsenal are unbeaten in their last 15 games and go into this weekends clash in high spirits after coming from two goals down to defeat Ludogorets in the Champions league earlier this week.

Harry Kane is in line to make a return to first team football this weekend after he returned to training after recovering from an ankle injury.
