Liverpool & Tottenham become most heavily represented team in England national team

England national team manager Gareth Southgate revealed his squad selection for the games against Spain and Scotland on Sunday evening.

Every player in the 25-man call up was from the Premier League but Liverpool and Tottenham had the highest representation by club with players each.

Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson, striker Daniel Sturridge, full-back Nathaniel Clyne and star midfielder Adam Lallana were all called up.

The Reds also happen to be first in the Premier League table after overtaking Chelsea following their 6-1 win over Watford on Sunday.

Southgate called up Tottenham star striker Harry Kane after recovering from injury as well as Danny Rose, Kyle Walker and Eric Dier

United captain Wayne Rooney managed to keep his place in the team despite struggling for playing time at the Red Devils and coming under fire for his form.

The other United players called up were youngster Marcus Rashford and midfielder Jesse Lingard.
