Nathaniel Chalobah has enjoyed the best season of his Chelsea career so far under the stewardship of Antonio Conte.
He made his senior debut for the Blues in September against Leicester City in the EFL Cup, a first-team appearance that he had earned for 11 years of service for the club’s youth teams. He has gone on to make four more appearances this campaign.
Chalobah is no stranger to representing his country, having made a combined 89 international appearances ranging from England U16’s and U21’s.
He was included in the most recent U21 squad as they gear up to face Italy U21’s on Thursday. He certainly staked his claim to be included in the starting team with a thunderous volley in training. Paul Pogba would have been proud of this one.
