Arsenal right-back Hector Bellerin has reportedly agreed to a new six-year deal, and it’s now been claimed that he will earn £95,000-a-week.

It had been suggested that the Spaniard was close to agreeing a deal that would make him one of the top-earners at Arsenal, but ESPN FC have now added financial details to the story, according to their sources.

With Manchester City and Barcelona keen on the 21-year-old, as noted in the report, the Gunners have moved as swiftly as possible to tie him down to a new long-term deal that will see him rewarded for his fine form over the last two seasons.

Pep Guardiola is said to be an admirer of his talents, while the appeal of returning to his homeland with the club where it all began at the Nou Camp would have been tempting.

However, according to ESPN FC, Bellerin will more than double his wages to £95,000 a week, with the contract keeping him at the Emirates Stadium until 2022.

Having joined the club from Barca as a 16-year-old in 2011, the Spanish international has gone on to establish himself as a permanent fixture of Arsene Wenger’s starting line-up with his impressive displays at right back.

From the improvement in his defensive game to his pace and energy to run up and down the right flank and provide an attacking threat too, he continues to play a crucial role in Arsenal’s success. Provided that official confirmation arrives sooner rather than later, Arsenal fans will undoubtedly be delighted to see him commit his future to the club.
