Ajax have a proud history of producing top strikers – just look at the one up front for Manchester United – and it looks as though they may have another one on their hands.
Kasper Dolberg is a 19 year old Danish attacker who is making serious waves for his club. He’s scored 5 times in 10 games in the Eredivisie this season, and looks set to make his debut for his international side during this international break.
The Sun report Chelsea and Manchester City are among the clubs chasing Dolberg, who was brought to Ajax by the same scout that discovered fellow Scandinavians Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Christian Eriksen. Manchester United have also been mentioned in connection with him before.
The English paper also mention that Dolberg signed a new deal until 2021 in May. This will significantly increase his price tag, but no big Premier League club will realistically have an issue paying whatever Ajax ask for their latest prodigy.
