Three Premier League title rivals have clubbed together to share the cost of a private jet from Brazil.

Chelsea, Liverpool and Manchester City have split a £120,000 bill in a bid to get the likes of Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino, David Luiz, Willian and Fernandinho back to England fresh for next weekend’s Premier League fixtures, according to The Sun.

Coutinho, Firmino and Fernandinho played on Thursday as Brazil thrashed rivals Argentina 3-0.

Brazil play again on Wednesday when they take on Peru just three days before Liverpool visit Southampton and City travel to Crystal Palace.

Chelsea have an extra day to prepare for their match – at Middlesbrough on Sunday – but the Blues have nevertheless decided to chip in to get their two Brazil internationals back to London as soon as possible.

Just two points currently separate Premier League leaders Liverpool on 26, Chelsea on 25 in second and third-placed City on 24.

Coutinho scored Brazil’s opener against Argentina, before Neymar and Paulinho added their names to the scoresheet.
