Arsenal are going to have more trouble than they would hope in signing a Swedish wonderkid dubbed the new Mesut Ozil.
According to the Sun, Arsenal have sent a series of scouts to Scandinavia to watch 16 year old Peter Gwargis play. The youngster, who is part of the Husqvarna youth system, has grabbed the attention of Europe’s top clubs with some outstanding displays.
The Sun also list PSV and Feyenoord as among the clubs interested in the youngster. Arsenal have tried to jump to the front of the queue to sign the talent by offering him a visit of their London Colney training ground. However Feyenoord appear to be one step ahead of the Gunners in that regard.
Gwargis’ agent Walid Faour is quoted in the Sun as saying that he and his client are in Holland looking at Feyenood’s facilities.
He is also quoted as saying himself that Gwargis, a left footed attacking player, “will be the new Ozil”.
