England manager Gareth Southgate revealed that drawing to Spain felt like a defeat following the 2-2 draw at Wembley.
A draw against Spain would not be considered a particularly bad result under normal circumstances but England did take a two goal lead only to blow it in the last 10 minutes.
Southgate revealed after the game that he was disappointed with the result but pleased with the performance of his team.
Southgate: "It feels like a defeat for the players, but I couldn't be more proud of what they've done." https://t.co/b7xoVjivbh
