Oscar’s time at Chelsea looks to be finally coming to an end, with Inter not joining Juve on the list of clubs being strongly linked with the Brazilian.
The Sun claim the 25-year-old was on the verge of a move to Serie A in the summer. He ended up staying, but now without a start in two months the likelihood of an exit have increased. A January sale would provide funds to reinforce weaker areas of the team as Chelsea look to compete for the Premier League.
Oscar has never really settled at Chelsea, despite whole seasons of being first choice. He has often played well, and sometimes played very well, but these glimpses of his quality have only really served to throw into contrast his bad days – of which there were also plenty.
It seems that there is no room for him in Antonio Conte’s new shape, and with the Italian manager not wanting to disrupt his winning formula, Oscar looks like he will have to go elsewhere to continue playing.
