Manchester City star playmaker David Silva has heaped praise on his teammates following their 2-1 victory over Crystal Palace earlier today in the Premier League.
The Ivory Coast international Yaya Toure was a surprise inclusion in City’s starting line-up and the former Barcelona midfielder repaid the faith show in him by manager Pep Guardiola by scoring twice.
Silva shared a photo of Toure on his official Instagram page and uploaded the following caption, “Great comeback by team after the equaliser. Strong team mentality and desire to win. Good to see Yaya back and scoring. Good weekend for us so far!”
City moved to the top of the Premier League following Liverpool’s draw with Southampton.
