The FA are reportedly prepared to let it go regarding rumours that England duo Jordan Henderson and Adam Lallana visited a strip club.
Liverpool midfielders Henderson and Lallana went to the adult night spot the day after England beat Scotland 3-0, according to reports referenced by BBC Sport.
Neither player will be punished, claim BBC Sport, who add that Manchester United and England captain Wayne Rooney was not forced to apologise – even though he chose to – for getting drunk in the team hotel on the same night.
It seems that Henderson, who captained England to a 2-2 draw against Spain days later, and Lallana did not breach the FA’s code of conduct.
Lallana is married, having tied the knot with his partner Emily in 2013.
Meanwhile, Henderson is also married and has children with wife Rebecca Burnett.
According to The Mirror, Henderson is tee-total and only drank water in the strip club.
Lallana is said to have consumed a “few sips” of beer.
Sounds like a pretty dreadful night by all accounts!
