Chelsea striker Diego Costa scored the winning goal in the 1-0 victory over Middlesbrough on Sunday at the Riverside stadium.
Costa took his goal tally to 10 goals and four assist in the Premier League this season.
The Spanish international striker has now scored seven times in his last seven away games for the London based outfit.
Chelsea have won their last six games in the league scoring 17 goals over the course of their winning streak – and have kept a clean sheet in al six matches.
The Premier League leaders face a tough test next against rivals Tottenham at Stamford Bridge in the London derby.
The Blues are currently first but Spurs are the only team in the league that have yet to lose a game over the course of the 2016-17 campaign. Tottenham came from behind to beat West Ham 3-2 thanks to two last-gasp goals from Harry Kane in the derby over the weekend.
