Man United’s Jose Mourinho blasts nemesis Arsene Wenger over awful Arsenal run

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho has decided to launch yet another tirade against his rival Arsene Wenger in the lead up to the Red Devil’s clash with Feyenoord in the Europa League on Thursday.

According to the Mirror, the Portuguese tactician blasted his nemesis for not winning a championship in 14 years.

Mourinho’s side was held to a 1-1 draw by Arsenal on Saturday, leaving the Red Devils in sixth place, nine points off league leaders Chelsea.

However, the former Real Madrid manger believes that he is under more pressure than Wenger, because he is a specialist in winning.

“The Arsenal manager hasn’t won a championship in 14 years. I haven’t won a championship in 18 months,” Mourinho was quoted as saying by the Mirror.

“He, in 14 years, failed to build a team to be champion.

“I’ve been here for four months. And the demand is only for me and not for others.”

The Portuguese tactician may however have a point seeing that Wenger last won the Premier League back in 2004.

Meanwhile, Mourinho has since won three league titles with Chelsea, two Serie A titles and a Champions League with Inter Milan and the Spanish league with Real Madrid.

Arsenal take on PSG in the UEFA Champions League this week while Man United host Feyenoord in the Europa League on Thursday night.
