Joe Hart’s sudden and unexpected move to Serie A at the end of the summer was a real surprise, but it has gone better than many predicted, and Torino are now rumored to be trying to get the stopper on loan for next year too.
The cover of today’s Tuttosport, visible below claims that Torino officials have made the first contacts with City over taking Hart on loan for another year.
Pep Guardiola replaced Hart with Claudio Bravo, who has not been an unqualified success. But it still doesn’t seem likely that Pep will change his mind and bring Hart back in next year. City splashing the cash on another big name keeper sounds more in keeping with their style.
Torino would struggle to pay Hart’s wages in full, which is why they are keen to loan him again next year with City still paying part of his salary, rather than buy him outright.
