Arsenal don’t have the best of reputations for producing a great atmosphere at the Emirates Stadium, but this is taking things to another level.

The Gunners were involved in a significant clash in the Champions League on Wednesday night, with a win over Paris Saint-Germain putting them in pole position to top Group A.

Unfortunately for Arsene Wenger, the French champions claimed a draw and go into the last round of group fixtures as favourites to finish top, but there was a tweet that caught the attention of Arsenal fans after the game.

As seen above, @JoshuaaJames snapped an image of a fan sat in front of him on FaceTime speaking to his girlfriend during the game.

Despite shelling out a minimum of £70 on a ticket, he opted to spend over 45 minutes on his phone according to a later tweet and unsurprisingly enraged other Arsenal fans over it being an absolute waste of a ticket.

With the Arsenal faithful constantly mocked over the lack of noise generated at the stadium, this is a perfect case in point about why they get so much stick.

It’s fair to say fans weren’t impressed on Twitter, with one fan replying and insisting that it was “everything wrong with football today” while others mocked the man in question over being “severely under the thumb.”
