If there is anyone to take lessons from on how to defend, it’s Rio Ferdinand.
The Manchester United legend won it all during his time at Old Trafford; six Premier League titles, three League cups, six Community Shields, the FIFA Club World Cup and the Champions League. During a 12-year spell with United he wrote his name into the Premier League hall-of-fame as one of the greatest defenders ever to play in the division.
Since retiring from playing football, he’s taken up the role of talking about it for BT Sport. This evening he is on the panel for Chelsea vs Tottenham, and he’s not clearly not impressed with what he’s seeing.
Ferdinand posted this video in wake of Victor Moses’ second-half goal, in which he can be seen ranting about the mistakes made by Spurs’ defenders.
