Juventus want Premier League striker to add to their ridiculous attacking options

Juventus are interested in signing Romelu Lukaku, according to Italian transfer site Calcio Mercato.

The rumour site claims that the Old Lady have been watching Lukaku on a weekly basis, and are likely to have eyes on him tomorrow when Everton travel to St Mary’s for a tricky test against a Southampton side that has shown real resilience against top sides this season. A goal from the Belgian striker would go a long way to impressing anyone sent to observe how he gets on against one of the Premier League’s stronger back lines.

With Paulo Dybala and Gonzalo Higuain already installed as first choice strikers, Lukaku seems like he would be a huge luxury for the Italian giants. Mario Mandzukic is currently the third choice front man at Juve, and any move for Lukaku would likely see the Croatian moving on.

But – as Calcio Mercato point out – as long as Mino Raiola (Lukaku’s agent) is involved there’s always the possibility of a deal, no matter how little sense it appears to make from the outside.
