Chelsea signed Michael Hector as part of their bizarre late splurge last season, bringing in the Reading defender along with Pedro, Papy Djilobodji and later Pato as part of the strangest part of their transfer strategy yet. While Papy Djilobodji has gone on to some success at Sunderland (he’s starting in the Premier League on a regular basis which is a pretty big success given his footballing ability); Michael Hector was quietly send out on loan to Frankfurt in the Bundesliga. Today he posted this image celebrating completing his first 90 minutes in a Frankfurt shirt. Even more impressive? His side beat high flying Dortmund 2-1.
