Arsene Wenger has never shied away from the possibility of adding attacking talent to his Arsenal side. The Gunners have a plethora of industrious forward players within their ranks, and according to Italian website Calciomercato, they may soon be adding to that.

Calciomercato report that contract talks between M’Baye Niang and AC Milan have stalled, with Arsenal named as one of the clubs who could make a move for him if he were to leave the San Siro.

Niang has been involved in several controversies during his time in Milan, from jumping off the roof of his house into a swimming pool to being hit with an 18-month suspended prison sentence for an alleged hit-and-run while he was driving without a license.

The 21-year-old is lightning quick and can play either as a striker or on the wings. His versatility and explosiveness could certainly be of use to Wenger, who is fond of players who can play in multiple positions across the forward line – a la Alex Iwobi and Alexis Sanchez.
