Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson has expressed his delight following the Reds victory over Leeds United in the League Cup.
Jurgen Klopp’s side recorded a 2-0 win over the Championship side with the goals coming from Divok Origi and youngster Woodburn.
Henderson shared a photo of himself from the game on social media and included the following caption, “Good result and into the next round! Well done @divockorigi on another goal! Congratulations to @ben.woodburn for becoming youngest ever player to score for LFC! Not a bad week for you!”
Liverpool remained in second place in the Premier League following their 2-0 victory over Sunderland.
