This promotional video for a new Nike advert was posted across a few Barcelona players Twitter accounts through the week. It shows Barca players including Sergi Busquets, Denis Suarez and Ivan Rakitic playing in the legenary “rondo” – the circle of players playing the ball between them avoiding two tacklers in the middle of the circle who try to steal the ball from them.
It’s only a short clip, but it give you an idea of the astonishing speed at which these Rondos take place. It’s no wonder that players like Busquets lose the ball so rarely on the pitch when they play like this in training.
